Is there anything that can be done to improve it without reducing reliability? It would be my everyday carry-gun (I wear shorts most of the year, and my 1911 doesn't hide well) if I could only hit something with it!!! My 8 pound pull gage maxes out LONG before the end of the pull.It is so heavy that my finger deforms, and gets pinched between the end of the trigger and the trigger guard as I pull it. However, when assembled it takes 3 men and a boy to pull the trigger. I detached the hammer spring(which is an extension- type spring) and the actual trigger/ hammer movement isn't bad. It has no passive or active safeties of any kind. I have a p-11, and the trigger pull, well it is just AWFULL : As I understand the manual, the super strong hammer spring is the only thing that makes it go bang, as the hammer even falls on the firing pin when the slide closes, but not hard enough to fire. ![]() ![]() 223 project, but I have to ask while I am thinkin about it.
